The project entitled “EMPLOYEE
INFORMATION AND TIMEIN/TIMEOUT SYSTEM” is developed in VB.Net as frontend and
Microsoft Access asbackend. This application is useful to maintain the details
of employees and their IN time and OUT time of employees daily. By this
application we can maintain intimae and out time for a selected date also.
Existing system:
The Existing System is a Manual system. In existing system employee
details maintained by Records and IN time and OUT time maintained also by
registers. In this system there is a
chance to do mistakes. More manpower is required to maintain employee details
for a company.
Draw backs:

Since the existing system is manual,
there are changes of committing frequent errors.

Many staffs have to be appointed for
this process.
·
In case of preparing any reports, the
end user has to go through every file.
·
The maintenance of documents in separate
registers is very difficult to handle.
·
There are changes of misusing the
system.
·
Wastage of time and money due to manual
system.
Problem Statement:
The Employee Information System is done by
Manual system employee details maintained by Records and IN time and OUT time
maintained also by registers. In this
system there is a chance to do mistakes. More manpower is required to maintain
employee details for a company.
Proposed
System:
The proposed
system is to store the employee details and IN time and OUT time of each and
every employee working within the organization in database. By this application
the Employee has no chance enter the wrong IN time and OUT time.
Module description:
This project mainly consists of two
modules.

Admin
(2)
Employee
In Admin module we can add new
employee details, delete existing employee details, update particular employee
details, search for particular employee details, view list of employees, view
employee records one by one, view IN time and OUT time of all employees, view
IN time and OUT time for a specific date for all employees and view IN time and
OUT time of individual employee.
In Employee Module we can enter In Time and Out Time by login name and
password. Login name and password given to employee manually by admin. With
that employee can enter In Time and Out Time daily.
