Abstract
Have you ever experienced the painful task of
changing the IP configuration and the IE Proxy settings every time you change
your location of work? Now this can be done in a fairly easy manner with the
help of a simple utility tool called Smart Network Profile Manager.
This utility tool is very useful for those who work on
the laptops and go around places and get bugged up with the frequent changes in
the IP Configuration and the IE Proxy settings in order to start off with the
actual work. This utility tool helps in maintaining different profiles with
different IP Configuration and the IE Proxy settings of different locations so
that one can start off with the actual work by just clicking on the desired
suitable profile.
This
is a utility which stores multiple network and proxy configuration as profiles.
You can apply a profile to set specific network setting and proxy from simple
shortcuts.

Scope
Our software is mainly indented to the people who
are interested in a utility which stores multiple network and proxy
configuration as profiles. You can apply a profile to set specific network
setting and proxy from simple shortcuts.
Existing System
The user has to store
his network address and proxy server names in the notepad or somewhere in his
laptop there is chance of losing that file. Here everything is done manually.
Proposed system
This tool stores the entire
network address and proxy server name in the laptop based on different
location. If we select particular location it will automatically gets the
network address and proxy server name (if necessary) and connects to internet.

a. Profile Manager Module:
With the help of this module we are able to manage various
profiles based on the services if more than one services being used. Based on
the selection of area and corresponding internet service providers we can
select one and get started for using internet.
b.
Configuration Helper module:
Under this module we provide the
configuration settings of the individual profiles i.e.., the IP addresses and
proxy settings are set here for individual profiles. Whenever a profile is
selected its configuration settings are entered and saved before itself at the
time of profile creation and then used with one click.

GUI Interface:
Under this module we design the user interface of our project. As this
is a windows application it becomes very important that the interface is
perfect and intractable and giving me exact output one is looking for.
