GOLD AND SILVER RATE
DISPLAY SYSTEM WITH EEPROM DATA BACK UP SYSTEM
ABSTRACT:
Due to
the drastic changes in technology in the last decade, so many advancements were
took place. One among them are improving
facilities in shopping malls, gold shops
were display of particular item price will be shown on LCD Screen. In this
system the user uses EEPROM card to store all the prices as a data back up
A 16X2 LCD is provided to Display
item rates on it either Gold or Silver. An EEPROM is provided on the board to store
the updated rates. At every instant rate are stored in EEPROM so that
the data will not be lost even in power
failure cases.
Here we are using control
Switches for the mode selection .By using these control switches we are
differentiating values of Gold and Silver by calculating their respective rates
and storing their rates in EEPROM there by
displaying the rates in LCD.
This system uses 5V regulated power supply
for the microcontroller 18V supply. This is provided by the 18V, 2Amp transformer.
Hence this project provides a best solution for the owners and customers in
their day- to- day life.
