Mobile Attendence (Android projects)

ABSTRACT

In MODERN GENERATION mobiles are being using by people very impulsively and huge amount of number. So they are expecting different kind of specifications and technology in mobiles, as we know ANDROID is an open source.

                    Our project Name is “Mobile ATTENDENCE (OR) TABLET ATTENDENCE”. It is an application we can take attendance through MOBILE or TABLET.  

            In this project we will implement how to take attendance of different classes by a particular teacher in mobile, it will authenticate the data of student by each and every class, he presents.  It also gives the aggregate percentage in his academic year by clicking a single button.

                     In this app we can also add or Delete a student(s) whenever they will leave the college or school and incase if they are detained.  We will develop this App by Using Database of every Entity in a class, like Name, Roll no, Mobile no.

·         About the project:

              This Project will mainly useful for every Teacher in any kind of Institutions to reduce his burden by maintaining and carrying Register(s) with her or him in his daily work.

Probably it may also give correct and appropriate Student’s attendance.  The purpose of this project is to develop “Quicker and Faster “attendance with details application that runs on Android platform.

This is the first version of its kind and is developed based on Android platform. The goal of this project is to take attendance automatically when it is clicked on student’s number.

In fact it gives fewer burdens to teacher by just giving a click with his or her hand.           

               After the attendance module has been properly installed, (the teacher) must add attendance as an activity to each course in which teacher wish to keep attendance.

"Add an activity or resource" in a Model section box. Note that teacher may now add as many instances of the Attendance module as he likes, and that each instance has multiple sections. Be sure to give the instance a name that indicates what it will be used for (e.g., "Lecture Attendance"). If he will be using groups in courses, set the Group mode accordingly (even if groups exist in the course, he will not be able to use them within the Attendance module if he select No groups).

Once teacher have added an attendance instance, they are ready to start using the attendance module.

Because it makes both the teacher's job and the students' access to information simpler, it is recommended that you install the associated Attendance block. If you have done so, you also need to add the Attendance block to your course page. This is accomplished by making sure that editing is turned on and then finding the block entitled, "Add a block." In the drop-down menu in this block, select Attendance and the block will be added. As always, move the block to fit your viewing preference.

Existing system limitations:

The current system has no application to give the correct Attendance by the mobile. In the previous projects the attendance will take in on line using internet only 

But there is no application developed for attendance automatically by giving apps predefined methods.

Proposed system with features:

            In this project we are proposing a new form of technology to get the attendance and automatic message system to absentees. In this project we will take attendance, it will authenticate the student and teacher by easily whether student is regular or not to the college or school, he can add and delete the students for his or her convenience.

 

 The main feature of the proposed system is, we are developing an application in such a way that it is totally the administrator or user’s point of view by this we can hold the attendance as we need our wish. The mobile attendance completely gives the student’s information from his starting day itself. For this application we are using features like database, layouts, views and service (), etc. This application makes use of fast responsible database storage system services in the mobile and based on this services it gets the total attendance.

                    Our application can be very useful to the user because it is the only application that can take the attendance by mobile. Our application must be installed in the mobile whose supports android mobile and in our application a password is been set. When the user wants to login the mobile and prefer for taking the attendance or to view the student’s attendance performance in the academic year. This application will be supported by all the network providers... This project is circuitously pollution free project.

            Finally we are proposing a new technology to take the attendance and according to the user flexibility named Mobile Attendance.
