Shift management
system is used for maintaining and managing the schedules and the related
details of the employees working in different projects and in different shifts.
In an era where
having a website of your own is a matter of prestige for some and necessity for
others. Management of these websites is still an area which is ignored or done
in traditional manner. In a changing world no corporate company or any website owner
would like to host a static content over their site. We in a system called ‘SHIFT
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM’ provide a structural mechanism of building the content
for your site. It also provides us a testing area where the created content is
being hosted.
The structural
mechanism provides in this system requires personal with specialization in
different areas. The entire content is
grilled through various phases before being made available for the website. The
content being created or hosted can be placed into different categories
available with the system. The crucial content can even be placed in a
protected zone which can be accessed by only the registered users.

project the employee is working on, his/her leader, different shifts worked in
with the respective number of shifts.

scheduling: It is the process of producing daily schedules for individual
employees.
Proposed System:
The main objective of the system is to minimise the troubles that
might come in scheduling the employees and offer a better solution than what is
currently existent in the market. The system has been designed to take care of
schedule management and the related details about the employees working
in different projects and in different shifts.

Manager is responsible for his team and can’t have the
details of other teams which results in security to the system.

The employees can be given the facility to view their
shift details as well as the allowances that they are expected to get. Employee
backup facilities can be incorporated in case an employee is not able to turn
up for the designated shift.

Supervisor/Administrator’s job can be decomposed to set
/ edit shift details as per the project requirements so that they can be
implemented easily and more productively.

The allowances of the employees who work in different
shifts is calculated by the system for the benefit of the GAP / Finance
department.
