Desktop Reminder (Dot Net project)

ABSTRACT

When we open our system, desktop reminder will display a reminder that displays all our activities of that particular day and for coming days. First of all, we should create the database and the client’s entire activities should enter into the database. The reminder checks the entire data in the database and displays at a particular day we can edit, postpone, prepone and delete the given data. We can add events at any time in the database. We can set the alarm at that particular date and time and displays the message. In option button we can adjust settings such as refresh rate, sounds, highlight colors, and alerts.

Existing System with Limitations:

           

In olden days there used to be only monthly remainders it reminders us only in every month and our every day events cannot be remind to users so to overcome that now we are using every day reminders so it displays all our day to day reminders .However, the conventional notepad has revealed its deficiencies and limitations, such as inconvenience. And conventional notepad cannot alarm automatically also.

Disadvantage:

1.     Only once the remainder will be viewed to the user.

2.     When we close our system our reminders will not be reminder’s us

Proposed System Features:

          Desktop Reminder is used for every user and it provides all the information for the users when they open their system and it gives the details like birthdays, meetings, functions etc and it remainders us at that particular time. By using this reminder we can easily know our every day schedule and not only about that particular day next day and the previous day’s remainders can also be viewed to the user, they can edit the event prepone, postpone the selected events.

Advantage:

1.      ITReminders all events to the user when they open their system.

2.      It acts as every day planner.

3.      By using this reminder we can easily remember the events of that particular day.
