Abstract

           The actual problem is to create a website for the manufacturing company which deals about the Manufacturing Company’s dealers, products of the company, ordering the products from the dealers to company and purchase of products by customers and so on. The issues provided are differing for administration of the company, dealers and for the customers
          The Products manufactured by the company, and held in the company warehouse are stored in a Database. The details that are stored include the quantity of each product.
           Once the finished products are available from the manufacturing department, the products will be dispatched based on the orders placed by the Administrator.
Module Description:
The main modules of this “A Complete Computerization of Manufacturing Unit” are broadly divided into five. They are
1.    Administration module: Maintains the entire system. Maintains the dealer, Manufacturer, and Stock details. Provides the products to the customer whenever he gets the order from the customer. Do online transactions with dealers, Manufacturers and customers.
2.    Dealer maintenance module: Takes products to the market. Produces the products based on customer requirement.
1.       Manufacturer module: Produces the products i.e.., Market, needed products to Administrator unit. View the status of stock available. Receives the order given by Administrator. Produces the products based on the requirement.


2.      Customer module: Final user of the product. View the product details. Places an order to Administrator through online and payment paid to Administrator through online.
Features:
·         Centralized database accessed by various users in different locations.
·         Configure the permissible functionality on modules based on different rights and roles granted to users as per the policies.
·         Restrict access to users for modules, which are not in their operations scope.
·         Instantaneous reporting which aids decision-making.

Existing System
              In the Existing System, all users used to send their information through telephones, fax, postal mails or they use person to person contacts with each other. It takes long time to send their orders through this type of communications. And errors may occur in the process.                                                                                                                                              
          The administration faces the problems to collect all the orders from dealers and to analyze the required goods for the corresponding product. And also the information reply will again delay the process. The disadvantage here is, there is no certainty that the respective order is from Authorized dealer or not.

 Purpose of the System:

            The purpose of this project is to build a web based Manufacturing System that enables a Manufacturing company to schedule its manufacturing operations based on the daily update of sales from its dealers & customers. This system is used in a wide area network of software Development Company. The Company can use these software modules across multiple locations in the world




Proposed System
                 
               The system is a web based Manufacturing System that enables a Manufacturing company to schedule its manufacturing operations based on the daily update of sales from its dealers & customers. The system is modeled to use by a Manufacturing company, whose main activity is manufacturing different products & then supplying the finished goods to the customers and to the market by a network of Dealers. Once the finished products are available from the manufacturing department, the products will be dispatched based on the orders placed by the Administrator.

•           Visual Studio .Net Framework (Minimal for Deployment)                          
•           SQL Server 2008(according requirement) Enterprise Edition
